1 Berthoud Wrestling Club Parents Meeting 15Oct2017

2 BWC Mission Statement To develop young wrestlers through encouragement, respect, and competiveness in order to keep them morally and physically fit as an athlete and as a person.  The BWC will strive to engage the parents, the Berthoud community and the local schools to be involved in our program in order to have a collaborative effect on the mat and in the community.

3 Code of Conduct 1 of 2 Cooperation among coaches, wrestlers and parents is essential if our club is to run smoothly. Coaches, wrestlers and parents must make commitments to the program. We ask you to read and agree to the following “Code of Conduct.” 1. Parents are responsible for ensuring their wrestler’s and other family members’ behavior is in a manner conducive with the rules and regulations set forth by the coaches and the school administration. 2. Parents will always be respectful of other parents, fans, coaches, wrestlers, schools and their property regardless of whatever team or teams they represent. 3. Parents are to be respectful of the mat officials, as well as school officials at all times.

4 Code of Conduct 2 of 2 4. Parents are to ensure their wrestlers arrive on time and prepared, with all their equipment and any other items necessary, for all practice, duels and tournaments. 5. Parents must refrain from interfering with coaches during practice, duels and tournaments. Please let the coaches coach! 6. If you decide to attend tournaments that are not league related you must use a non BWC singlet unless accompanied by a BWC coach. 7. There will be absolutely no food or drink, other than water, allowed in the wrestling room at any time. By signing the “Berthoud Wrestling Club Registration” form you agree that you have read, understand and promise to follow or exceed the direction and intent of the “Berthoud Wrestling Club Code of Conduct”.
