17. Wrestler of the Week Brad Stuwe  Coaches select a wrestler each week  Receive a dog tag & recognition on Facebook  Objective criteria: good partner, first tournament, first win, upset win, good sportsmanship, etc.

New Parent/Wrestler Orientation Jason Zitzmann  We’ve all been there!  Typical practice  Types of regular season tournaments: MN/USA Qualifiers - more competitive MN/USA Qualifiers - more competitive Open tournaments Open tournaments  Qualifiers “qualify” your child for entrance to the state tournament based on points (25 pts needed) (1) 1 st place finish is 40 points – qualifies for state (1) 1 st place finish is 40 points – qualifies for state (1) 2 nd place finish is 25 points – qualifies for state (1) 2 nd place finish is 25 points – qualifies for state (1) 3 rd place finish is 10 points – need 3 (1) 3 rd place finish is 10 points – need 3
