Reading:
We will be practicing rhyming and beginning sounds this month. We will learn the following letters: Mm, Ii, Tt, Cc, Oo, Ff, Rr, Pp, Ll, Uu. We will continue learning new star words, as well. Please practice your flashcards at home!
Math:
We will continue to count up to 10, pointing to objects that we count.
Writing:
We will be practicing orally telling our ”small moment” stories and drawing pictures to match.
Science/Social Studies:
We will continue learning about apples and the season of fall!
Reminders
Our farm field trip is on October 6th. Please send your child into school with appropriate clothes for the weather and a disposable bagged lunch No thermoses or cloth lunch boxes please. Parents meeting us at the farm must arrive at 9:15am. Our two parent volunteers must meet us at school at 8:30am.
We will be dismissing early on October 6th. Students will be dismissed 15 minutes earlier than normal. Please plan accordingly for pickup or bus drop off.
