Song of Solomon 8:6-7
Put me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death, jealously is as severe as Sheol;
It’s flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord.
Many waters cannot quench love, nor will rivers overflow it;
If a man were to give all the riches of his house for love,
It would be utterly despised.

Ephesians 3:17-19
…that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

What kind of a person gets to have an intimate relationship with God?
Are there any characteristics or traits that we can possess that creates a way for us to walk in intimacy with Jesus?
1. someone who is humble.
2. someone who is available to God.
3. someone who is willing to do His will.

5. CAN I DO ANYTHING FOR YOU?
John 7:16-17
Jesus therefore answered them, and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If any man is willing to His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself.”

6. CAN I DO ANYTHING FOR YOU?
Jesus enjoyed intimate relationship with the Father because He was always willing to do His will.
John 5:30
I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

7. CAN I DO ANYTHING FOR YOU?
Ephesians 5:10
Trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
In your life, who are you trying to please?
Who or what is the object of your passions?

8. CAN I DO ANYTHING FOR YOU?
Another aspect of pleasing God is serving one another.
Galatians 5:13
For you were called to freedom, brethren, only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

9. CAN I DO ANYTHING FOR YOU?
Matthew 20:25-28
But Jesus called them to Himself, and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. It is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
