What types of levers are there
Levers perform two main functions. To increase the resistace (or force) that can be moved with a given effort. To increase the velocity at which an object will move with a given force. First class levers is when you have the fulcrum placed between the load and the effort. Second-class levers have the load between the effort and the fulcrum. And the Third-class levers have the effort placed between the load and the fulcrum
3
Levers I use the first class lever in my ski stroke. This is important in my sport because it is creating more power into my stoke and makes me get faster in my stroke Effect Fulcrum Effect Force

Force summation . You must accelerate each body part so the optimum momentum passes from one body part to the next. – when you are doing your leg drive you are starting off with your smaller muscles and then going into your bigger muscles
6
Force summation You use as many body parts as possible, to Ensure all forces are directed at the target to create maximum force.- When I am starting off with my stoke I am using calf's muscles going up to hamstrings and then going to my gluteus and quadriceps up to my lats and abdominals and going to my pectorals major going to deltoids and using my biceps and triceps and then going down to my brachioradialis
7
Force summation To Follow through it is important to prevent deceleration of the last part when you are doing your sport.- if you get your leg drive and you paddle stroke out of time you will go slower. But if you do get your leg drive and paddle stoke right you should be able to reach the optimum power to get you flying in the water
8
Force summation For each body part it should be able to be stable so that the next body part accelerates around the stable base of transfer momentum- when your glutesmaximus is in the ski it gives you a stable base for you to have a stable leg drive and paddle stroke
9
Force summation Force summation is when you start off with your bigger muscles and then you end up using your smaller muscles- When I do my ski stoke I am starting off with my calf's muscles going up to hamstrings and then going to my gluteus and quadriceps up to my lats and abdominals and going to my pectorals major going to deltoids and using my biceps and triceps and then going down to my brachioradialis
10
Balance and stability Balance and stability is when the athlete's center of gravity is in the middle of the body, which can rotate freely in any direction.- when I am taking my leg drive and your stoke at the same time you must have your center of gravity in the middle of the surf ski or you will lose your balance and fall out of the surf ski. Center of gravity
