Sequence The sequence of a story is the order in which the events take place. Let’s look at the story Fireflies, Fireflies Light My Way. There is an order in which the author sees the animals. Let’s discuss this order.

Objective: To compose coherent sentences in a personal narrative; to generate ideas before writing on assigned tasks; to select a focus for writing.

Write about something that happened in your life. Make sure you use beginning, middle, and end in your story. WILF: Check to see if you told about something that happened to you. Use I and me in your writing. Use capital letters where needed and punctuation.
