12 The Welcomed Role The Gatehouse attracts some of the hardest to reach and entrenched rough sleepers through its offer of food and a welcoming sheltered environment. This new level of provision at The Gatehouse has been welcomed by guests and staff because it plays a key part in the transition and progression of a number of individuals.

13 The Path Forward A proposal has been put forward for off-site working
with guests to include: Accompanying guests to services on first visit. Meeting guests in coffee shops to complete referral forms. Attending one-off appointments with guests, such as to open a bank account. Several services within the network have been keen to establish stronger links with the Gatehouse following the introduction of this role e.g. a weekly Outreach drop-in. There have been further offers of involvement from external groups e.g. Hays Recruitment offering strong links with employers.

14 Thank you all for your support.
A Final Remark Through my work, I am privileged to have gained an unshakable and deep held faith in the intrinsic nature of people; they are my driving force. This opportunity to offer support where it is so needed is one I could not pass by. I'm delighted to be a part of this amazing team at The Gatehouse: I truly feel at home. It is an organisation that is both reflective and dynamically reactive to changing needs. I'm looking forward to continuing and developing this role with you all. Thank you all for your support.
