(The sets are fluid - changes will be made when we feel it is appropriate and you will be contacted before.)

4. Literacy Reading Diaries Guided Reading/reciprocal reading Text Types:
Traditional Tales
Information texts (dictionaries, reference books etc…)
Dialogue and plays
Letters for difference purposes
Shape Poetry

5. Spelling
Children will be given a half term spelling list, which will be on the school website.
Weekly words will be differentiated and tested weekly (Friday)
There will be continuous work on suffixes in addition to learning high frequency words.

6. Homework Two pieces are set per week
Feel free to write notes in the Homework books indicating if your child required a support etc.
All homework should be completed in writing pencil and colouring pencils (when creating pictures).
Children should spend a maximum of 30 minutes on each piece of homework. (An adult can sign off the work if 30 minutes have passed but the work is incomplete.)
