Easter school – for both schools we are now looking at using St Joseph’s Academy Pupils will continue to be taught by their teacher until exam leave (30 April 2018) Exam venue: Games Hall in the new Kilmarnock Academy – fully air conditioned, no passing pedestrian traffic Seniors wear basic school uniform to exams – new tie except for outgoing S6 (wear old ties for identity) Will run as two separate exam diets in one venue New invigilation team appointed Exam consetion arrangements Seniors return in June 2018

Working Time Agreements have been adapted to include time for staff to work collaboratively both in formal meetings and some in-service days. Calendars have been synchronised between JHA & KA to facilitate a joined up approach in moving forward such as with S4 Work Experience options Prizegiving …… Pupils: Met all pupils activities for each stage P7- S3 to come together. joint excursions and experiences such as Rapid Response. Parents: Joint information sessions – 14th November ! P7 Parent information evening 12 December Pathways sessions Jan/ Feb own schools. Consistent delivery of information to both school’s parents

Happening at all levels for courses, admin etc. Policy alignment – looking at some key areas: Respectful Relationships & Behaviour Tracking & Monitoring SQA Presentation as a starter!

Free School Transport (over 3 miles following a suitable walking route) Subsidised School Transport (between 1.5 and 3 miles, free to those in receipt of FSM) Privileged Seat Transport (Space available on exisiting school transport contracts) Applications made to East Ayrshire Council School Transport as early as possible and preferably before 30 May.
