5. China-Bangladesh Relationship
Political relations: current government’s policy towards east, Sheikh Hasina visited China in 2014, Xi Jinping visited Bangladesh in 2016
Economic relation: China is the biggest trade partner of Bangladesh though Bangladesh having largest trade deficit with China as well;
Strategic-Security cooperation: Bangladesh Army has been equipped with Chinese tanks and Bangladesh Navy has been equipped with Chinese submarines; the Bay of Bengal is very important to China

Some countries have doubt on China’s intention
But small countries like Bangladesh can take the infrastructural advantage
