1 Women's Rights In Saudi Arabia
By Andrew Geissler Joe Fortuna and Julia Robillard

2 History of women's rights in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is run under the Muslim laws of Sharia. These laws are very unfair to women due to the vagueness and outdatedness of them. These laws are up to the interpretation of the king. The kings of saudia Arabia have interpreted these laws as women have less rights. Women have been treated as second class citizens to men for all of history in Saudi Arabia.

3 What rights don't they have.
Can't go out in public without a male guardian Can't drive Can't chose who they want to marry Very difficult to divorce No laws protect child brides Can't speak in public in front of men

4 What can we do to help We the people of the United States could do things like hold protests so that our government can get more involved. Or we can stop buying Saudi Arabian products like gasoline from oil companies. Spread awareness to more people.

5 What have Saudi women been doing to take a stand?
Videotaping themselves driving Protested work restrictions -> typical male jobs include medicine, banking and teaching Receive a good education so they can better fight for equal rights
