REG: AX, BX, CX, DX, AH, AL, BL, BH, CH, CL, DH, DL, DI, SI, BP, SP. SREG: DS, ES, SS, and only as second operand: CS. memory: [BX], [BX+SI+7], variable, etc... immediate: 5, -24, 3Fh, b, etc...

6. Example Instructions MOV operand1, operand2 ADD operand1, operand2
Copy operand2 to operand1.
i.e. operand1 = operand2;
ADD operand1, operand2
operand1 = operand1 + operand2;
Exercise: Write a program that
Loads values of 5 and 10 to AL and BL, respectively
Sums up the contents of AL and BL.
Saves the result to the memory address 3000h
