Send in an extra set of clothes Label all of your child’s belongings School Supply List (Extra Supplies Kept In Room) Absences: Send in a written note after an absence. If your child is going home a different way please send note or call office. I cannot always check during school day. Conferences: November & May. Please send your child in tennis shoes. They will not be allowed on the playground equipment without them. Questions: Please ask! There are no silly questions! If you need to contact me after school easiest way is . Announcements and late bell at 8:40 Parents coming into the school need a badge from the office (Scanned license) We are encouraging students to walk into school independently! Hang book bag, take out lunch box, folder in box (depends on teacher) Money (in envelopes with name) and notes on the teacher’s desk Homework folders in box (Upon Due Date)

14 Science/SS/health & Writing
BCPS written curriculum implemented this year. Three primary units begins in October with hands on exploration. Day that Science is not implemented Social Studies and Health lessons will be put into place. Students will write in groups, pairs, and independently.

15 These MUST stay on their backpacks all year long!!
Dismissal Student Info Tags The children will have tags on their backpacks which will indicate how they will go home. These MUST stay on their backpacks all year long!! Car Riders: A safety will escort the car riders to the gym. Pick up car riders from your car at side of the building/parking lot area. Bus Riders: Another safety will escort the bus riders to the lobby where they will be the first to get on the bus. Walkers: Kindergarten Walkers will meet their parent at the side door. (Mrs. Campbell) Open Door Afterschool Program: Open Door students will be escorted to the cafeteria. Parents will pick up their students from the side door by buzzing in and signing their student out. Afternoon announcements are at 3:05 Dismissal 3:10

18 Birthdays Our school policy says that we cannot have birthday celebrations in the classroom. This means no cupcakes. Your child will be given a birthday crown.

19 BCPS One Please sign up for BCPS One. There is a yellow paper in your folder with instructions. If you would like to sign up before you leave the computer lab will be open.
