Staffing News
A huge congratulations to Neta on securing the permanent teaching position here at Parkway Kindergarten. We have been very lucky in having Neta relieve here for the past year and she has already been building strong relationships with our tamariki, families, whanau and aiga.
The teaching team looks forward to moving into term 1, 2018 with a fully staffed and permanent team.

Laugh a lots excursion
This coming Thursday we are heading off to laugh a lots Lower Hutt for an excursion.
All children and parent helpers need to be at kindy by 8.45am ready for the bus
Please make sure your child has their kindy bag with
A drink bottle, morning tea and lunch
And a spare change of clothes
We will be back at kindy by 12pm approx.
Marae Trip
Next Wednesday 29th November
We are off to the Wainuiomata Marae for Kapa haka
All children and parent helpers need to be at kindy by 9.45am ready for the bus
Children need to be dressed in black clothing
Or their own cultural costumes (lava lava, sari etc)
Morning tea will be held at the marae.

2. Christmas Party
Parkway Kindergarten’s Christmas party is being held on
Friday 1st December 5 – 6.30pm
Here at the kindergarten.
Itinerary
5 – 5.30pm Picnic or takeaway dinner
5.30 – 6pm Kapa Haka
6 – 6.30pm Santa
Please bring along your whole family/whanau/aiga
To join in these festive celebrations.
Bring along a picnic or take a ways to have for dinner
Join us in singing some waiata and Christmas Carols
Please let Karen or Sophie know if you are bringing along any older or younger brothers and sisters so that we ensure their is a gift on site for them too.
All gifts will be supplied by the kindergarten.
Christmas Raffle
Please make sure your donations of Instant Kiwi scratchy cards have been handed into Sophie
Raffle tickets have been given out to be sold at $2 each
We have more tickets avaialable if you can sell more
Tickets and money need to be returned to the kindergarten by
Wednesday 29th November (next Wednesday)
