2. The Human Brain
The human brain has four lobes; the parietal lobe, frontal lobe, temporal lobes, and occipital lobe.
Each lobe has its own position on the brain and purpose.
The brain is also separated into two hemispheres.
The average brain weighs about 3 pounds.

3. The Parietal Lobe Located in the middle section of the brain.
Associated with tacticle sensory such as pressure, pain, and touch.
A portion of the brain known as the somatosensory cortex is located in this lobe.

4. The Frontal Lobe Located at front part of the brain
Associated with reasoning, motor skills, higher level of cognition, and expressive language.
Used most as a young child to learn.
At the back of the frontal lobe lies the motor cortex.

5. The Temporal Lobe Located at bottom section of the brain.
Location of the primary auditory cortex, which is important for interpreting sounds and the language we hear.

6. The Occipital Lobe Located at the back portion of the brain.
Associated with interpreting visual stimuli and information.
The primary visual cortex is located in this lobe, which interprets information from the retinas.
