4 Create standard tables.
Use the Insert Table command on the insert tab

5 Change cell attributes: formatting, cell size, colour etc.
Using Table AutoFit Click within your table and click on the Layout tab , Cell size group then Select the Table AutoFit command.

6 Change cell attributes: formatting, cell size, colour etc.
To color a cell(s) Click on a cell or click and drag to select several cells. Click on the Design tab  Table styles group  Shading command, which will display drop down menu for the colors option.

7 Use the automatic table formatting tool.
Click on the Table drop down menu and select Quick tables

Select the Insert tab, then click the Shapes command. A drop-down menu of shapes will appear. Select the desired shape.

On the Format tab, click the More drop-down arrow in the Shape Style Group. A drop-down menu of styles will appear. Select the style you want to use.

Place the insertion point at the location you want to insert the Excel spreadsheet. From the Insert tab  Text Group select the Object command. Scroll down the dialog box and select Microsoft Excel Worksheet.

14 Hyperlinks Adding hyperlinks to text can provide access to websites and  addresses directly from your document.  Select the text you want to format as a hyperlink. Select the Insert tab, then click the Hyperlink command
