Founded in Berlin in 1870
First Domestic branches were inaugurated in 1871
1890: Expansion of Deutsche Bank Started
1929:Merger with other banks to curb increasing costs
1933: Company dismissed Adolf Hitler’s three jewish board members.
1959:Bank entered Retail Banking
1980:Bank acquired Italian subsidiary of Bank of America
2001: In October Deutsche Bank was listed on the New York Stock exchange

4. Major milestones
: Deutsche Bank was broken down into 10 banks and was gradually reformed after the founding of Federal republic of Germany.
From 1959: Deutsche Bank entered the Retail Banking
1989:Takeover of the British Bank Morgan Grenfell
1999: Acquisition of investment bank Bankers Trust
2006: Retail Business expands with the takeover of Berliner Bank and Noris Bank
2007: Started Retail business in China
