2 Water cycle, Infiltration & Runoff Week 1 Day 1
Objective: Tasks: Students will be able to read for information on the water cycle , infiltration and runoff. Water cycle 2:57 Ground water 5:01 TASK 1: Student will read and high light 2 paragraphs and then answer 13 questions. Assignment: Packet 13 water cycle & climate, pg 2-3, mini lesson 1 water cycle. TASK 2: Students will read and high light 4 paragraphs and then answer 11 questions. Assignment: Packet 13 water cycle & climate, pg 6-7, mini lesson 2 infiltration & runoff.

Objective: Tasks: Students will be able to will read for information on factors that affect climate. Climatic conditions 7:40 TASK 1: Students will read and hi light a paragraph about latitude and then answer 2 questions. TASK 2: Students will read and hi light a paragraph about elevation and then answer 8 questions. TASK 3: Students will read and hi light a paragraph about nearness to a large body of water and then fill in 4 charts and answer one question for each city using page 3 of the ESRT. ASSIGNMENT: Packet 13 mini lesson 3 Factors that affect climate pages 14-16

7 Factors that affect climate: Planetary winds & mountains Week Day 4
Objective: Tasks: Students will be able to will read for information on factors that affect climate. TASK 1: Students will read and hi light a paragraph about planetary winds and then answer 7 questions. TASK 2: Students will use colored pencils to color the warm and cool currents on pg 4 ESRT. Then they will answer 3 questions on currents. TASK 3: Students will read and hi light a paragraph about mountain ranges and then answer 4 questions. ASSIGNMENT: Packet 13 mini lesson 3 Factors that affect climate pages 17-19
