Athenian men married women at the age of 30 or more.Marriage was the natural state for Egyptians of both genders, and most common title for non-royal women was "mistress of the house". The women had to do everything in the household they had to clean everything wash everything make everything neat and take care of their children in the house.
Egypt was one of the best places for a woman. Unlike any other ancient african cultures in Egyptian society men and women fairly equal rights. An example they could both manage their own property. But the main job for a women is to take care of the children and the house. Sometimes they can join with their husbands in the fields or workshops. And some women wove clothing.Some women like Queen Tiy even rose to an important position in the government. .

Kids had toys to play with. Fortunate kids had better toys than others . less fortunate kids had toys made out of wood or clay. Kids did not go to school if they were less fortunate but on the other hand rich kids got to go to school if they wanted or forced by parents.

Farmers produce food surpluses. When farmers do this, The economy begins to expand. People learned to do jobs that did not include agriculture. One example is, Some Egyptians learned to be scribes. A scribe is someone whose job is to write and keep record.

What did the slaves in Egypt do? - Healthy slaves worked in crop fields and they grew crops and other kind of vegetables to eat.
What was life like in ancient Egypt? - Slaves did not get a big civilization because of all the colonists.
When did slavery in ancient Egypt begin and end? Slavery existed throughout Egyptian history. Historically one of the most common groups enslaved were people of the Jewish faith.
What did the slaves in ancient Egypt eat? - They ate beans, rice,Lemon and Garlic Potato Salad, Khoshaf, Oven-Fried Cheese,Cinnamon Beverage and more.

6. Specialized jobs and roles Eli B.
When the Ancient Egyptian culture got more advanced they needed jobs for more people so they created a more skilled government. They had scribes write down things and have skilled artisans make large stones turn into houses or be an architect and make temples FOR THE GODS!!!! Some artisans made pottery, incense, mats, furniture, linen clothing, sandals, or jewelry. Some people traveled up the Nile to get resources from other civilizations like the Africans. As Egypt grew so did the roles and jobs, as the social pyramid to the right it shows that the Pharaoh of Egypt was like a god so it is at the top then priests and nobles then soldiers etc.
