15 Assignments

16 Difficulties Students mostly don’t think that figuring out where to find sources in the library, finding sources to use “out on the Web”, finding artices in the library’s databases, coming up with search terms, finding up-to-date materials and determining whether a Web Site is credible or not are difficult. They generally find getting started on the assignment, defining a topic for the assignment and narrowing down a topic difficult.

17 Difficulties There is not anything in this list that most of the students think it is really hard to do. Students mostly don’t think that reading through the material, taking notes, integrating different sources from their research into their assignment, knowing when they should cite a source, knowing when they should cite a source, and the writing part is difficult. Most difficult things according to the students are re-phrasing what is already well expressed in a source and knowing whether I’ve done a good job on the assignment or not is difficult.
