1 September VinConnect Release Notes
These release notes contain all items released between August 16th and September 6th as a part of the continuous delivery process, and the September 13th monthly release. 2 New and Enhanced Features
Reporting & Analytics Platform Connect Reporting Data Fields To allow users the ability to view data on a regular basis, a new data set has been added to the Connect Reporting Platform. A new Daily Dealer Summary data set has been added which will allow users to view not only data on a monthly basis, but also the previous day’s data. Desking Global Taxes When desking a lease for a NY customer, a dealer can now use any of the equity allocation rules and the taxes will calculate correctly. Customer Dashboard Editing Letters Users now have the ability to edit letters before printing when using the Letter icon on the Customer Dashboard. Improvements to Lead Settings Reactivating Lost and Bad Leads To provide admins with more control over who can reactivate Bad or Lost leads, settings have been added that will allow admins to restrict access and prevent managers, sales reps, and specific users from reactivating Bad and Lost leads. See page 3 for more details. Warning Messages for Lost, Bad, or Duplicate Leads To indicate to users that they are trying to take action on a Bad, Lost, or Duplicate lead, a warning message has been added. The warning message will indicate to users that any communications with the lead will not be sent to the OEM. See page 4 for more details. The Lead Contacted and Last Attempted Contacted fields for bad leads will also be hidden. Automatic Match of Imported DMS Sold Records To prevent the affected records from appearing on the DMS and CRM reports, an enhancement has been added that will automatically match imported DMS sold records in the CRM and the lead status will be updated to sold-delivered in the following three instances: When the customer last name and sold VIN are a 100% match. When the customer last name and deal number are a 100% match. When the sold VIN and deal number are 100% match. ©2016 VinSolutions

3 Reactivating Bad and Lost Leads Details
Several new features have been combined to provide dealers the ability to either enable or disable access for users who can reactivate Bad and Lost Leads. Admins can set access for all sales reps, all managers, or for specific users. To enable or disable access at the sales rep and manager level, select Settings > ILM/CRM > Lead Settings. To enable or disable access at the user level, select Edit for a user from your User List. On the bottom of the Advanced Settings tab, check the desired box. When reactivating a Lost or Bad Lead a warning message will pop-up. Users can click Cancel to dismiss the warning message and stay on the Customer Dashboard, or users can click Continue and they will be directed to the Lead Reactivation workflow. ©2016 VinSolutions

4 Warning Messages for Bad, Lost, and Duplicate Leads Details
Several enhancements have been made that will display a warning message when users attempt to take action on a Bad, Lost, or Duplicate Lead. If the user clicks on any of the activity icons located on the Customer Dashboard, a warning message will appear. Users can click Cancel to dismiss the warning message and stay on the Customer Dashboard, or users can click Continue and they will be directed to the selected workflow. ©2016 VinSolutions

Description Released 9/13/16 When Creating a Campaign the filter Body Style functions properly again. Released 9/9/16 Task Enhancement - When using either Active Task by Type or Tasks by Status widgets located in the User Dashboard, the ability to drill through details of specific task type segment has been added. Lead Source ROI - A filter was added in the panel parameters of Sold Status with the default filter set to Sold Delivered. Sold-Pending Finance and Sold-On Order are additional options not selected by default. Added filter of ADF/XML (Select All/Yes/No) option. Error fixed when composing an , if the user selects the Insert Similar Vehicles button, a new window generates with a list of inventory vehicles. Within this window, a View Incentives Details link displays for each vehicle. ©2016 VinSolutions
