1 Eph 6:10-18 NIV Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

7 I Peter 5:8-9 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

8 . For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

9 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

10 Belt of Truth Ray Stedman: "No Christian has the right to a private life. Our lives are to be lived openly before all men, transparent, a spectacle unto all the world. We have no private lives and we must not expect to have. This is basically and fundamentally wrong. Christians are to be demonstrations of the truth."

11 Breastplate of Righteousness
This is the righteousness of Christ, imputed by God and received by faith, which guards our hearts against the accusations and charges of Satan, and secures our innermost being from his attacks.

12 Feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace
Rom 10:15 (KJV) ...As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

13 Shield of Faith It makes ineffective Satan’s assault of sowing doubts in regard to the faithfulness of God and His Word

14 Helmet of Salvation Ps 140:7 (NAS) "O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation [Yeshua], You have covered my head in the day of battle."

15 Sword of the Spirit Which is the Word of God

16 Praying in the Spirit

17 Conclusion of the Matter
1) We must RESIST Satan IMMEDIATELY! James 4:7 (NIV) Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

18 2) Use God’s Word Strategically
Psalm 119:9, 133 (NIV) 9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.

19 3) Worship God Exclusively
Deuteronomy 6:5, 13 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength Fear the LORD your God, serve him only. (NIV)
