WORKING WITH OTHERS THE HEALTH CARE TEAM
A team is a group of people working toward a common goal. The goal of the health care team is to provide the client with the best possible care and support. Health care team members depend on each other to perform their role to the best of their ability. Members of the health care team vary from setting to setting as well as from team to team. The team members depend on the clients needs. A multidisciplinary team includes health care providers from a variety of backgrounds and specialties who work together to meet the client’s need.

WORKING WITH OTHERS WORKING UNDER SUPERVISION
Supervision in a facility - The team leader has overall responsibility for the patient’s care. The team leader is also your supervisor Supervision in a community setting - You report to a supervisor who is in communication with the case manager. Your supervisor will give you information and specific instructions about a client.

Task - a function procedure or activity that you assist with or perform for the client. Assigning - giving responsibility for providing care or support. Delegation - is a process in which a supervisor authorizes another care provider to perform certain tasks Your supervisor will assign most of your daily tasks
