3 Where We Will Be: The State of the Perry Public Schools At the start of or throughout next year: Beginning deficit for 2012-13: $1,000,000 Pension rate increase: 24.46% to 27.37% $ 159,500 Enrollment decline : $ 308,790 Added unemployment costs: $ 46,600 Lease payment for eight buses (2 nd of 3): $ 113,176 Loss of one-time state funding: $ 153,012 Reduction is federal funding (estimated): $ 7,661 Ending deficit in 2012-13: $1,788,739
