Eligibility Eligible candidates must have an academic faculty appointment in the UAMS College of Medicine, Pharmacy or Nursing conducting pediatric research on the ACH campus. Additionally, they must be fulltime employees of ACH, ACRI, ACNC or UAMS. Link

Eligibility Eligible candidates must have an academic appointment in the UAMS Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy or Nursing conducting pediatric research on the ACH campus. They must also be fulltime employees of ACH (including ACRI and/or ACNC) or UAMS. Investigators conducting clinical research are highly encouraged to apply. Link

Applicants should be full-time faculty/staff based on the ACH campus and initiating independent research careers, usually at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor (or their equivalents). 14 Internal Pilot Study and Training Grant Opportunities
Eligibility (read funding announcement for full list of eligibility requirements) A doctoral-level degree in a health discipline that can be applied to clinical or translational research. These degrees include, but are not limited to, M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D., D.N.P., Dr.P.H., or D.O. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national or permanent resident. Individuals on temporary or student visas are not eligible. Candidates must be committed to a career focused on multidisciplinary clinical or translational research. Full-time faculty at UAMS, UAMS Northwest Campus, Arkansas Children’s Hospital and its Research Institute (ACHRI), or the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) who hold non-temporary positions at the rank of instructor or above are eligible for TRI Pilot Awards. Eligibility (read funding announcement for full list of eligibility requirements) Principal Investigators for these awards must be members of the institution’s faculty (junior or senior investigators - all title series including regular, research, clinical and special). Successful projects will exemplify the CTSA’s mission of developing clinical and translational research. All investigators selected to receive funding will be expected to submit a Final Progress Report at the end of the funded project and an additional report one year later, detailing progress to date, expenditures, and all submitted publications and grant applications (pending or funded) relating to the pilot project.
