2 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing You can record and edit MIDI files using one of the many free or commercial software (MIDI sequencer) available on the net or on the market. With a MIDI sequencer you can: organize a MIDI song in TRACKS (one for each instruments) record and play MIDI events edit MIDI events synchronize MIDI tracks with audio and video tracks and much more…

5 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Start from EMPTY Double click on empty track
to rename the Track1 with EURLAB1

6 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Double click to set left locator position to
And right locator To Double click in the area between left and right locator to create a EMPTY MIDI pattern. You can choose a color for the track.

7 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Double click in the pattern just created to open the EDITOR. Here you can write and edit musical MIDI notes. Such as a text editor.....

8 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Right click to open the tool palette.
Choose the PEN tool

9 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Write the 2 notes

10 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing For each note: select the note
- change some property (double click on each field you want change) Second note: start = lenght= 2.0.0 pitch = 102 First note: start = lenght= 2.0.0 pitch = 100 Close the EDITOR

11 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Now you have a MIDI track with 2 notes!!!
Click on OUT column and select ‘USB CABLE’ Click on CHN column and select ‘1’ (the destination channel)

12 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Look at the TRANSPORT BAR...
Set the POSITION PLAYER to the same position of the LEFT locator, clicking on ‘L’ Activate the ‘LOOP’ button. Notes will be played in loop between left and right locator. Start PLAY LOOK THE ‘NOTE OUT’ LED BAR!! It will blink each time there is a MIDI event in output.

13 BS I.1: MIDI sequencing Play and stop the MIDI track as you want!
DON’T FORGET TO SAVE THE FILE !
