I mean, they could have just sent the presentation through using an or produced a speech instead. It probably would have been more interesting and if it wasn’t, at least the audience could fall asleep without feeling guilty. Reading off the slide also carries the risk that your audience will get bored and stop listening before you even finish..

it will only blind your audience

7. DO NOT use funky fonts
You want your audience to be able to understand what is on your slide

10. DO NOT use fonts smaller than 36pt for headings and 20pt for text.
