4 Make an outline of your slide show first Each slide should have one clear and simple purpose Decide on text first and then illustrate your point with an appropriate visual

6 Type only the main points Bullet or number main points Give details when you’re speaking to the group (“talking points”)

7 Six bullets per slide maximum Six to eight words per bullet Don’t make audiences read lots and lots of material. They’ll get bored and stop listening, and besides, your brain can only do one thing at once and you want your audience to listen, not read. You probably gave up on reading this paragraph a long time ago.
