2 The Mouth The mouth chews up the food

3 The Esophagus The Esophagus helps the food get into the stomach or liquid.

4 The Stomach The Stomach helps break down the food that you eat.

5 Small Intestine The Small Intestine absorbs small food particles.

6 Large Intestine The Large Intestine absorbs the liquid from the / your feaces

7 Liver The Liver serves a vital function in almost every system in your body.

8 Appendix The Appendix does not serve any useful purpose as a digestive organ in humans and it is believed to be gradually disappearing in the human species.

9 Pancreas The Pancreas is a gland of vertebrates.

10 Bile/Bile Duct Bile or gall is a bitter tasting dark green to yellowish brown fluid produced by the Liver. A Bile Duct is any number of long tube like structures that carry Bile.

11 Mucus Mucus either comes from your nose like when you’re getting a cold.

12 Chemical/Mechanical Digestion
Digestion is the mechanical and the chemical break down of food into smaller components that are more easily absorbed into the blood stream.

13 Salivary Amylase Amylase is an enzyme that catalyses the break down of starch into sugar.

14 Gallbladder The Gallbladder is a small organ that aids mainly in fat digestion.

15 Enzymes Enzymes are catalyst that accelerate or slow down a chemical reaction.
