Dispute over choice of location without fair knowledge of weather, road conditions, highway blocks etc.
Travel arrangements for large groups (20-30 people) to be done well in advance. Last moment bookings cause major problem.
Checking hotel vacancies, enquiring about room facilities and charges can be atiresome job.
Upon reaching vacation spot, arranging local tours and gathering side attraction, amusement park tickets, pasees a trouble.
Regular customers and trusted brand users often disappointed when trying new local, unknown products in new places.
In case of vehicle breakdowns, locating simple routes and getting a new transport mode for a large group is a hard task.
Sub-standard food and consumables, managing several tickets, passes, coupons, online payments etc. waste of time & effort.

3. Contribution of technologies in facilitating group travels
Currently Existing Technologies & Their Problems
Google Maps and GPS navigation helps in finding unknown routes, weather forecasts, roadblocks etc.
Transport services are often covered by rental cab services like Ola, Uber etc. but do not support more than 10 passengers; thus a problem for large groups.
If local foods are not one's type, traditional foods and international cuisines delivered by services like Zomato, Swiggy, FoodPanda etc.
Conventional hotel booking sites like Cleartrip, MakeMyTrip etc. do not allow single time booking for more than persons, thus rendering ineffective for large groups of travellers.
Innovative technologies, startups and research as better alternatives
Citymapper Services, easy to use and playful, offers more detailed journey planner than Google, including real-time departure and disruption alerts, Google Maps as well as Uber integration around 30 cities worldwide currently.
Duolingo is a useful app helping in learning and applying new languages thus bridging gap between cultures.
Still no permanent solution for instant rental services for large groups of in a new city.
