10. DoI Committee
Each school board member nominates 2 members, 1 education member and 1 community member.
Superintendent nominates 7 members.
Possibly include school attorney and teacher organization representatives.
This would give the advisory panel 21 members.
Request nominee names be submitted to Beth Trimble by February 6, 2017.
Board/Superintendent should contact and confirm participation of their selected individuals.

11. Purpose of DoI Committee
Explore the different exemptions and determine which ones are appropriate for our school district.
Check with TEA regularly to see if there are additional exemptions
Post the finished document for 30 days for review
Host a Public Hearing about our plan and answer any questions our community might have
Approve Final District of Innovation Plan and Submit to Board of Trustees for final approval
