2. History The first Bugs Bunny cartoon premiered in 1940 in A Wild Hare.
This started a series of animations titled ‘Merrie Melodies’.
Characters introduced in Merrie Melodies were originally going to be one-shots. However, the thought of reoccurring chararcters stuck.

Doing collaborations with any and everyone from Michael Jordan in Space Jam (1996) to his Disney rival, Mickey Mouse in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).

He has been voiced by five voice actors. The original being Mel Blanc, ‘The Man of a Thousand Voices’.
