3 10GBase-T Ethernet Introduction
Full-Duplex Transmission Operation over 4 twisted-pair copper line Link Distance At least 100m on Class F (UTP Cat 7) At least 55m Class E (UTP Cat 6) Line Code PAM MHz LDPC (833,1024) This slide shows the specification of 10GBase-T 10GBase-T supports full duplex transmission over 4 twisted pair copper line. The link distance of 10GBase-T is at least 100m on UTP cat 7. The link distance of 10GBase-T is at least 55m on UTP cat 6. One line code of 10GBase-T is PAM12 with LDPC FEC code. The 10GBase-T study group have not determined what the final specification of PAM and LDPC are. The target BER is 10^12; The 10GBase-T standard is not finalized, it will be approval at 2006.

上面是Tx,下面是Rx Framer將資料轉成正確的封包格式 LDPC加上redundent bits防止錯誤 THP encoding對抗channel的ISI 在receiver 首先將echo & NEXT消除 再通過EQ LDPC decoder &deframer Equalizer Design!!
