aims To Welcome you to Neale Wade Academy 6th Form and introduce you to the Post-16 Team. To give you the opportunity to review the broad range subjects and qualifications on offer. To view the excellent facilities and speak with subject staff and most importantly students. Careers and apprenticeships
Pre Apprenticeship programme Recruitment events and careers festivals. Designated Careers Advisor- Mrs Helen Parks Workshops on CV writing and interview technique. Mock interviews and Assessment Centre Employer work experience Being prepared for the process of gaining a valuable apprenticeship. An increasing number of our students are being successful in gaining places on Higher Level Apprenticeships.

Enrichment GCSE Maths/English retake
Level 3 Mathematical Studies (equivalent to one AS-Level) Extended Project Qualification- EPQ (Equivalent to one AS-Level)* Music Volunteering in school- Aces/Reading Buddies Work experience week Sports Leadership Award Reduced George Campbell Gym membership. Student Prefects and Student Council *Some universities in 2017 are reducing by 1 grade the required grade of entry to students who have completed the EPQ

Tonight Visit as many subject areas as possible – especially subjects you have not come across before. Speak with as many Staff and students. Do not leave tonight with any unanswered questions. Speak with our careers advisors and Post-16 team in the foyer on subject choices. Take a prospectus and enjoy your evening.
