6 Hierarchy Management A single hierarchy will relate Sales Prospects, Sales Accounts, and Legal Entities to represent a holistic view of Customer Sales Accounts can be at any level of the hierarchy, typically close to leaf nodes in complex corporate hierarchies Legal Entities are present at different levels of the hierarchy as subsidiary, division, branch of parent Legal Entities Since all Buying Customers are also Legal Entities, the hierarchy anyway covers them Recommend maintaining comprehensive hierarchy, part or whole of it would not be mandatory If the Sales Account to immediate parent Legal Entity part of the hierarchy is not established, certain business processes may not be automated in future e.g. opportunity to quote/order/contract
