2. Writing Project: Interview a character
Prompt: The actions of Mrs. Phelps and Mrs. Bowles reveal that they are committed to a society that has dehumanized its citizens. Choose one of these women for your interview, which can be for a television or radio talk show. Write three or four questions that you would ask this character to find out how she feels about Montag the fireman or any other topic you would like to discuss with her. Be sure to ask for reasons why she feels the way she does. Follow each of your questions with an answer from the character’s point of view. Write your interview.
