3 Conclusions I Integration does not only mean land register and cadastre but has to go beyond. Land administration is a cornerstone for economic welfare of countries and citizens. Countries across the ECE-region have been working on the same lines with regard to technology implementation and customer services.

4 Conclusions II Sharing experiences and lessons-learnt at international level is of critical importance for land administration. In order to create a ‘Networked society’ collaboration of land administration authorities with other government and private organisations is a key factor.

5 Conclusions III Creation of new products and services requires close customer involvement. The ‘one-stop-shop’ principle is gradually developing into an integrated e-government environment. Land consolidation is closely linked to land administration – also at institutional level.

6 Conclusions IV Data sharing between governmental and non-governmental organisations is the way to better services for the public. Quality management for land administration data is urgently needed to guarantee up-to-date and correct information for people and government. Easy public access to public registers – taking into account privacy issues - is a key aim.
