7 Experience in Rural Areas
Use a very basic vocabulary. Basic skills are needed to observe, design and built, using their creativity, interest and motivation.

8 When you think about starting
Try to give a solution to a problem that will help the student with his/her: Independence, Position, Communication, Play, Mobility, etc.

9 Plan what you want to build,
Invite other to work as a team; Maximize the materials; Use your creativity; “think out of the box”; believe that it is possible; See the functional use; and Have fun!!

10 Ask What am I teaching? What are the educational goals I want to achieve? What the student needs to function more independently? What are the strengths of the student?

11 Ask What works? What it does not work? Is multisensory?
Is safe and durable? Is it easy to repair? Is it interesting?

12 Ask It can grow as the child grows?
Can I increase its complexity to extend the concepts? How supports the educational goals?

13 Ask Does it stimulate growth? Does possibilities to choose?
Could it be used by more than one child?

14 Think about The design has to be modifiable
The adaptive design is personal with specific measures, design, and specification,

15 Adaptive Design Is very important to share, how the work team makes a difference and how the design make a really great impact for everyone.

16 Our purpose is to instigate a revolutionary shift, reject barriers and segregation and choose instead to imagine and build custom adaptations; share designs and stories; and respond to difference and disability, with solidarity and love” (Alex Truesdell)
