8. When you think about starting
Try to give a solution to a problem that will help the student with his/her:
Independence, Position, Communication, Play, Mobility, etc.

9. Plan what you want to build,
Invite other to work as a team;
Maximize the materials;
Use your creativity; “think out of the box”; believe that it is possible;
See the functional use; and
Have fun!!

What am I teaching?
What are the educational goals I want to achieve?
What the student needs to function more independently?
What are the strengths of the student?

11. Ask What works? What it does not work? Is multisensory?
Is safe and durable?
Is it easy to repair?
Is it interesting?

12. Ask It can grow as the child grows?
Can I increase its complexity to extend the concepts?
How supports the educational goals?

13. Ask Does it stimulate growth? Does possibilities to choose?
Could it be used by more than one child?

The adaptive design is personal with specific measures, design, and specification,
