Squid maths 10/01/08 Algebraic equation manipulation Make l the subject of the following equation: Firstly, divide by 2pi (both sides at the same time ) T= 2pi (l/g)^.5 T/2pi=2pi /2pi(l/g)^.5 Then, equal out the square root with a square (same on both sides :)) T/2pi²=(l/g)^.5² Then, multiply both sides by g. g(T/2pi)²=(l/g)g The final sum, I think (following directions, a useful ability.) g(T/2pi)²=l l=g(T/2pi)² Yeah!
