2. We started by locating India on the globe and in the atlas’
We started by locating India on the globe and in the atlas’. We now know its surrounding countries and oceans and that it is part of Asia.

3. We have made Indian flags and learnt what the colours and symbols mean.

4. The children have created some wonderful home learning projects.

7. We have learnt how to wear a sari and have been amazed by how beautiful Indian celebration clothes are.

Peacocks are the national bird of India. This morning, we would like your help to make some peacock feathers, that we will use to create a large peacock display. Please make large feathers with the equipment provided.
