6 Consumer Education 3 weeks (this week is an intro) What we will discuss/goals: Financial Responsibility How to save/spend wisely/plan for the FUTURE!!! Start thinking about goals/careers/education Test will be at the end of the quarter- is a state/CPS requirement so you must pass!

Cost comparison: Comparing the cost of two or more good or services to find the best VALUE Cost –Benefit Analysis: Cost: price paid for a good or service Benefit: An outcome that promotes well- being

9 Short, medium, long-term goals: Goals to achieve over specific periods of time
Income: Payment received for good or services, including employment. Expense: Cost paid to secure a good or service.

Cost Comparison: When have you used one? Example: Finding flights to Iceland for Spring Break. Most important? Cost and time (time probably more important) I went on to: Travelocity United IcelandAir Best price/time found: Iceland Air Time spent: about a week researching.
