3 Males and adults are the high-risk population for TSCI, and the leading cause of TSCI was high falls, followed by traffic accidents, falling objects, and violence. The most common level of injury observed in the current study was cervical injuries, which accounted for 61.0% of the total cases; patients with TSCI suffer from a substantial number of complications.

4 The differences in the distribution of surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy by the severity of the injury were statistically significant (P<0.05). However, the differences in the acceptance of rehabilitation therapy and traction therapy between the two groups were not significant (P>0.05), and a greater number of patients accepted surgery than other therapies. The mean and median length of hospital stay was 46.8 (±20.3) days and 22 days, respectively, and the difference in total medical cost between patients with complete and incomplete injuries was significant (P<0.05).
