2. How to search for colleges that fit me
With thousands of colleges and universities in the world its hard to know which one is the best fit.
With Naviance, you have the ability to search and explore all of these colleges and universities in one place.

3. Where to start the college search?
You can start exploring colleges from either the home page on Family Connection by clicking on “Colleges I’m Thinking About” or be clicking on the “College” tab.

4. Adding Colleges to my list
Under “colleges I’m thinking about”, start building a list of colleges that interest you by clicking on “add colleges to the list”.
Next click on “lookup” to search a college by name and select that college to add it to your list.

5. Exploring Colleges
Once you have added colleges to your list, you can explore more about them by clicking on their name.

6. Exploring Colleges
By clicking on the name of a college from your list you can find information such as:
How many students get accepted?
What kinds of activities do they offer (sports, clubs, sororities)?
What average test scores needed to be accepted?
How much it will cost?
What majors are offered?

7. But wait….there’s more
Under the “College” tab you can find other colleges that are similar to the ones on your list by clicking on “College Match”.

8. SuperMatch College Search
With all the colleges and universities out there, wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to put in what you are looking for and out would pop the perfect college for you?
With SuperMatch, this has become a reality.

9. Where to find SuperMatch?
The “SuperMatch college search” is found under the “College” tab.

10. SuperMatch
You will answer 23 criteria questions about what you are looking for in a college. It is important to answer these questions honestly so that your results are truly meaningful.

11. Answering questions
Click on each criteria to answer the question that best suits you.
The more criteria you answer the better fit the colleges will be.

12. Results
Based on your responses to the criteria, a list of “best fitting” colleges will generate. This list will be ranked based on how well the college fits with what you are looking for.

13. Like what you see?
To learn more about a college on your generated list, click “expand”.
To add a college to your “colleges I’m thinking about” list, click on “add to colleges I’m thinking about”
