3 From course theme to issue
To write an argumentative thesis Identify the course theme. What is problematic about your course theme? This is likely the issue. It must be debatable. There must be more than one way to think about the issue.

4 From Issue to Argument Identify at least two positions to the issue.
Take one position that you can support with evidence from your two sources.

5 And? So? Avoid Expository statements

6 Avoid Expository Statements

7 Balance the use of evidence from both sources.
Format, proofread, and submit the MS Word (.doc or .docx) file to webcourses. I will not grade the assignment if it has not passed through the turnitin system. This means do not use the text option for submission. Ensure your file went through the turnitin process by accessing your turnitin report. Call (407) for more information on how to access turnitin reports.

8 This is the End Seriously. That is all for now.
