4 Design Concept of the Profile

5 Design Outline of Profiles 1
The profile design should be produced according to the guidelines Layouts or expressions that do not comply with the design concept should not be considered Design oriented expression Use photographs as an expression of the key Fujitsu goals: “Advanced”, “Reliability”, “High security”, “Global” Adopt simple design elements that reflect these goals Express futuristic images with gray gradation, sophisticated images with a balance of red and white, and stability and long-standing with a composition using square areas All Rights Reserved, Copyright FUJITSU LIMITED 2005

Easy to read, easy to look at The contents of Corporate profiles should be easy to read and look at The color combination of black text on a white background is selected for ease of readability. Limiting the font to 2 kinds (Arial, Arial Black), and requiring a letter height of 14pt or greater, makes the text consistent and easy to read even when a projector is used The design of charts and graphs do not affect an image even it is printed in monochrome or gray All Rights Reserved, Copyright FUJITSU LIMITED 2005

11 Fonts The size of letters is set to more than 18Pt if text is simple. Follow these rules if text is composed in columns. 13 Layouts (Rectangular images)
There are 5 layout patterns usable in corporate profiles. Carefully planning to fit each layout is recommended. Include margins on all sides for appearance. The horizontal width of photographs should be uniform if multiple photographs are displayed longitudinally. The height of photographs should be uniform if multiple photographs are displayed side-by-side. Photographs should be arranged on the edge of the master. Harmonize gradation and text. Balance text with images to express dynamic images. Be careful not to overlap text and photographs. The purpose of a chart is to accurately convey data Includes coordinate with two or three axis Charts express a process or an organization: A flow chart An organization or system chart Graphs that cannot be reproduced in Power Point are defined as illustrations No confidential data should be used in any chart included in the Corporate Profiles All Rights Reserved, Copyright FUJITSU LIMITED 2005

Various graphs Graphs should be produced using Power Point according to the samples in the corporate profiles. When producing figures and graphs, use various colours, text and patterns to help convey the information Be careful about the size of text. Characters should be readable in print.
