A Note From Your Teacher…
Homework Folders: Please keep the behavior calendar and decodable reader in the pocket every night. Listen to your child read the book several times until they can read it fluently. The book will be exchanged approximately 2 times a week for a new book.
Sight Words: Please help your student practice his/her sight word list daily. Once he/she can read the list fluently by sight, please sign and return to school.
Nonsense Words: Keep on practicing the nonsense words. A new list of nonsense words will be on the back of the Tic-Tac-Toe spelling menu. Students should be reading these words fluently! The more practice, the better!
