2. What is a rain forest?
The rainforest has four layers.The rainforests grow by the equator.It is very moist.Only six percent of the world is rainforest.Most animals live in the rainforest.

3. Location of Rain Forests
The Amazon rainforest is in Africa, Asia, Australia, Central America, and South America.

4. Emergent Layer
The Emergent Layer is the tallest layer. Most birds live there. Monkeys swing from tree to tree grabbing fruit. Most sun gets to the Emergent Layer.

5. Canopy Layer
Most of the animals live in the canopy layer.The canopy layer is the 2nd layer from the top. Many animals live there such as jaguars, birds, frogs,and monkeys.

6. Understory layer
The understory layer is where Tarzan lived. Only a few trees grow in the under story layer. Lianas hang from trees.

7. Forest Floor
The forest floor has leafs and sticks decomposers eat them and lizards eat insects. Anacondas also live on the forest floor.

8. Deforestation
The rainforest is being cut down!! Just think about it no more rainforest no more cocoa, cinnamon, or oranges and more.

9. People of the Rain Forest
If people continue cutting the rainforest the natives will have no shelter, food or beauty.
