Marie Skodowska Curie (7 November July 4, 1934) was a Polish-born physicist and chemist who later acquired French nationality. She was the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize and the only one she received twice in two different fields [5] (once in physics and another in chemistry), the first female professor at the University of Paris.
