We will be visiting the Dove Library this week! Please prepare your child by getting plenty of rest on Monday night and packing a healthy lunch on Tuesday. Then, on Tuesday night, ask your child about the field trip!

Learning Goals:
Word Work: Students will continue to practice reading and spelling short vowel words that end in -ck. Please see the examples on the front page of the newsletter.
Reading: Students will identify the main idea and supporting details from a non-fiction text.
Math: Students will continue their investigation of addition. We will continue to look at patterns when adding to ten, and find efficient ways to add to 9, 8, and 7.
Writing: Students will write an informational paragraph about gases.
Science: Students will study the three main states of matter. This week, our primary focus will be defining gases.
