2. I HATE SCHOOL I HATE SCHOOL by Clarice Hughes
I hate school it's a waste of time,
all you do is talk and rhyme,
you get loads of homework what’s the point,
it teaches you nothing yes nothing is taught,
just teachers yelling at you all day,
oh, put on your hat no hat no play,
you get in trouble for no reason at all,
it's for stuff like kicking a ball,
I am about to end this poem,
so, listen to me don't go to school,
STAY AT HOME!

3. Meaning of this poem
School is a place where some kids like to go and some don’t and the author is one of those who doesn't like to go to school.

Give me an image of kids in class , talking and doing nothing.

For some kids school maybe fun , but for some school is the worst thing in their life.

Since kindergarten till today when I wake up in the morning I always think of an excuse to tell my parents something , so that they could let me skip school and stay at home.

I see a nerd, I see a fool
I see someone mad , I see someone cool
Honestly I hate coming to school
School isn’t for me
I’d rather stay at home and watch tv.
